How we share and acquire livestock & supplies at SAWGG

Meeting Auction:

• Members and Guests can sell or donate: aquarium, pond, or gardening related items at our Live auction towards the end of the meeting. You will receive an 80% split of the sales price if write your name on the item and collect your earnings at the end of the meeting. For donations (MUCH appreciated as we cannot hold public fundraisers) omit your name or write “donation” on the item.
• Auction item criteria: must be of auctionable interest, size or quantity. No open or expired consumables, nor broken or dirty equipment. Items not meeting these criteria may be placed on our “Free Table.”
• Animals must be aquarium bagged or bottled with at least 1/2 space of air. Double bag to avoid leaks. A drop of ammonia neutralizer and/or a piece of Poly-Filter® is a good idea.
• Winning bids are paid with CASH ONLY (visit that ATM before the meeting!).

Meeting FREE Table:

Place anything here you would like to give away, share, or that does not meet our auction criteria. This could be garden produce, tools, books and magazines, plants, fish, equipment, foods, water treatments, parts & supplies, etc.
