SAWGG Members share livestock and supplies several ways:
Our Monthy Live Auction:
- Aquarium, pond, or general gardening related items only. No open or expired consumables, nor broken or dirty equipment. Items not meeting these criteria may be placed on our F.R.E.E.S. table.
- Items must be of auctionable interest, size or quantity to not overwhelm or slow down the auction. Otherwise place on our F.R.E.E.S. table.
- Animals must be aquarium bagged or bottled with at least 1/2 space of air. Double thin bags to avoid leaks. A drop of ammonia neutralizer and/or a piece of Poly-Filter® is a good idea.
- Place used tanks and stands outside the meeting room or in your vehicle due to space limitations.
- Donated items are most welcome and help fund the club. Just write “donation” on the item so we can record it.
- You can also sell your items and receive an 80-20 Seller-club split. Write your name on the item. You must collect your earnings at the end of the auction.
- Cash only (visit that ATM before your come!)
F.R.E.E.S. Table:
- Free Re-use Extras Expunge Share: place anything here you would like to give away or does not meet our auction criteria above.
Private exchanges between our Members is common.
